The positives...
- we continue to be a place that is open for people sit down in a warm place and enjoy a hot meal.
- there's a new openness to hear and respond to the Gospel
- staff have joined our visitors in prayer for many needs - two examples are:
- one man asked for prayer for his wife, that she'd be healed and that he could find the strength to stop taking drugs
- two ladies asked for prayer that they could overcome their addictions and get their families back
- we're still able to serve over 100 meals a day
- donations of food continue to come in daily
- we were about to put out a call for kitchen supplies and right then, we got a call from a generous donor asking if we wanted the very supplies we were going to ask for!
- we are working with the Food Security Group hosted by SK Health
- financial donations are down, but they continue to come in daily, many from people who haven't been connected to The Bridge, and even some from outside Saskatchewan - will you help us too?
- our visitors REALLY want do something to help:
- three are financially donating out of what little they have
- one man overheard a lady asking for seconds and he gave her his meal and went without
