The board exists to support and facilitate the vision of the ministry and its Executive Director

In 1997, when the Lord set me free from many destructive behaviours, I received the experiential knowledge of His love for me. From then on, my heart’s cry was to be used by Him to share that truth and love with others without hope. When the Lord impressed upon my heart the vision of the Bridge “to meet the people where they’re at and accept them as they are” for God’s body to share His unconditional love, it was an answer to my prayers. My passion is to see God’s Kingdom come right here, right now! To empower and release those in our community and beyond, with God’s hope and purpose. I am continually blessed and honoured to serve in this ministry.

It's a honor and blessing to be a part of The Bridge team.  I've been connected to the Bridge through the years by attending and participating in Sunday services. There's a freedom and peace found at the Bridge that allows people to come as they are and then be changed by the love of Jesus.  I am looking forward to co-labouring with the Lord and serving with others to see His Kingdom come and His will be done in Saskatoon through The Bridge.

My involvement with The Bridge began in 2011 as an agriculture student at the U of S, through serving at Kids Club in response to Christ’s call to love the least of these. I am still very grateful to be a part of Kids Club, serving there with my husband Levi. I have seen the lives of many transformed by the power and love of God through the ministry of The Bridge, and have also been deeply shaped in my time there. I am now honoured to serve The Bridge as a board member, offering my time, passion, gifts, and energy to see God’s kingdom come in the inner city and Saskatoon as a whole!

Throughout the history of the Bible, few things have been as clear as God's love and care for the most vulnerable in society. The Bridge ministry specializes in showing God's redemptive love and transforming power to those that walk through it's doors. My prayer is that the Lord would continue to use The Bridge in such a way that through it, the city of Saskatoon would be forever changed. It truly is a privilege to be able to serve alongside men and women of faith who daily put the kingdom and mission of God first!

My family first came to know The Bridge when my wife interned there during the summer of 2009.  I value The Bridge’s work because it is a real-world expression of the Lord’s call to seek justice, love mercy and walk humbly with the Lord (Micah 6:8).  Jesus always took time for the “least of these” and I long to see the healing power of his love impact everyone who walks through The Bridge’s doors.  May our city be transformed, and eternity impacted, because of the daily faithfulness of all who partner with what the Lord is doing here.
